Kids Club Nephrologists

Dear Members, Colleagues, Dear friends,

As president of the club of Young Nephrologists, it is with great pleasure that I look back on the year which saw us blow our tenth candle. 2010 was no exception to the rule and if need be shown all the vivacity of our club. That this letter gives me the opportunity to thank those who have to live the highlights of our club members.

First, all the speakers for our national meeting, I would say on behalf of the club how the high level of scientific excellence, combined with high availability enabled to offer members which account for both Our Club: excellence and friendliness. All speakers have earned their degree nephrologists perpetual youth. So let Chantal Loirat, Dominique Nochy, Veronique Fremeaux-Bacchi, Francois Fourrier, François Provot, Cecile, Hassan, Yahsou Delmas, Mowgli Quintrec, Paul Coppo, Bruno Ranchin a big applause and especially a huge THANK YOU ...

The March meeting was preceded by a visit to the service of Professor Yvon Berland CHU Marseille thanks to Professor Philippe Brunet. The Vice-President and I thank them warmly for their hospitality and their availability. I have set myself the task of forging closer links between our club and large responsible for nephrology and have therefore decided to repeat this experience always rewarding visiting nephrology services in the city where our meeting takes place.

Finally, the meeting came to fruition a project that has held my heart, since it absolutely fascinating evocation until its realization through the various stages of development: the creation of a show forum titled "I am bad blood "by the company led by Anne Zimmer silencer. Anne thank you to you for this fabulous experience for the richness of your eyes, for your questions and all the lighting has been able to bring this show. Thank you and bravo to your actors: Mounir, Cedric, Annie and Miriam.

2010, was also the year of our first exchanges with China Club. The office of the Club was invited into the service of Nephrology of the No. 1 Hospital of the people of Changzhou. We had some great moments and would like to thank Prof. He, director of the hospital that has done us the honor to request our opinion on the practices of services (visits to units for transplantation, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis with consultations). In exchange, the Club has agreed to receive four physicians for participating in our annual meeting.

Finally, always in the spirit of learning and conviviality so dear to the Club, I wish to thank Dr. Bruno Coevoet, who offered to 5 members of the Club training day dedicated to Quality. Everyone enjoyed the day on which I myself would have liked to participate. I also thank the laboratory GENZYME that made this visit possible.

The 2010 meeting was funded by Amgen and Novartis that I thank for their support. 2011 also saw open the possibility of developing new projects through a partnership with Interval-Health.

I want to thank Mr. President Patrice Deteix allowing us to attend meetings of the Board of Directors of the Society of Nephrology and work towards a rapprochement between the Club and the Society of Nephrology, as evidenced by his invitation to members of the Club as as moderators of the scientific sessions. I hope that 2011 will be realized projects for funding the participation of club members at the annual meeting of the NS.

Similarly, I wish to thank Professor Thierry Hanna, President of the Francophone Society of Dialysis for the richness of our discussions. The welcome at Board meetings of the SFD has always been very benevolent and we know that we are listened to and heard. Again, I hope that the proposed free registration for summer schools for 5 members of the Club will be realized.

Finally, this newsletter would not exist without you, Quentin. Thank you for your continued support to the Club for so many years. A

everyone, I wish a happy new year!

Sincerely, Isabelle
